Policies & Guidelines
The Monitoring and Evaluation Directorate is mandated to coordinate M&E of all Government Policies, Programmes and Projects. The Directorate has developed the Kenya M&E Policy to guide the implementation of the M&E function in the Public Sector. The M&E Policy is awaiting the approval of the Cabinet. The Directorate also provides guidelines in an effort to strengthen the M&E function across all levels of government. The guidelines serve as a tool to assist in setting up, designing, implementing and sustaining a functional M&E system that provides impartial, transparent and useful information for evidence-based decision making.
